So, as nearly everyone else on the internet has noticed, John McCain seemed to imply last week that an Arab and a good family man are mutually exclusive. A McCain supporter stood up at a rally and told McCain that she just did not trust Obama because she heard he was an Arab (because apparently for most Americans Arab means Muslim (forget about all those ethnic Persians who are also Arabs)). McCain said not to worry, Obama was not an Arab, he was a "good family man."
Anyhow, it's sad that discrimination against Arabs (and Mexicans and any other foreigner) is OK in America. Just about as irritating as all the idiots who complain about "Mexicans moving to Arizona, when in fact there's quite a few whose people happened to be living in Mexico when it was annexed into the United States.
