Near Wind River, WA. There was a ton of snow, and it was a really pretty day.
At this point, she was probably wishing that she had settled down with someone who plays a lot of video games and never leaves the house.

Here's Laura refusing to have her picture taken because she was mad and angry about skiing. She had fallen a few times and was frustrated......
We had to make an emergency binding repair when one of the party's bindings broke. However, the repair held up for us to make it back. I think that tele skis would have been preferable to the touring skis that Laura and I rented from REI, which had no edges. In other words, once you started going downhill, it was impossible to stop--unless you were acted upon by some outside force, like your hind end hitting the ground.
The dog was very tired at the xcountry ski trip.
Last night, at the very nice supermarket near our house, Laura discovered her favorite wine in the world, which is some wine from New Zealand. Much excitment ensued, and we got two bottles. Apparently, this is the only place, outside of new zealand, that she has managed to find this wine. What luck that it is just down the street from our house.
